“London, Meet Guillaume.” – Net-a-porter’s Natalie Massenet

I recently was invited to a cozy dinner hosted by Net-a-porter founder, Natalie Massenet on behalf of Carven designer, Guillaume Henry at the Blakes Hotel. The attendees included the lovely team at Net-a-porter, Style.com’s Sarah Mower, Grazia’s Paula Reed, The Telegraph’s Daniela Agnelli, Vogue’s Dolly Jones,  Fab Sugar’s Laura Street, RCFA’s Catherine Kallon, and Gemma Soames from the Sunday Times alongside other great influential individuals.

Natalie Massenet (pictured above), who looked gorgeous in Carven spoke of how they met, proclaiming Mr.Henry a “young Saint Laurent”. Due to a full time Internship I’m currently doing, I wasn’t able to interview him the next morning before he traveled back to Paris. Luckily, I got to chat with him about his experiences and the transition between designing at Givenchy & Paule Ka to the revival of Carven, the brand. I’m very impressed with Guillaume’s designs… The RTW items define the epitome of young edgy glamour – and I completely agree – This is just the beginning of an emerging talent…

Above are a few of my favorite pieces from my new favorite designer!
