I tend to love anything that comes of NYC… even jewellery. I’m in love with Ginette NY, a brand designed in NYC since 2002 by Frederique Dessemond using certified gold, stones, ceramic and diamonds. Most of the pieces I own, which range from earrings, bracelets to necklaces are made of 18 carat gold. My favourites are the minimal dainty pieces and the fox collection.
And then comes Scandinavian designs. There’s something about the understated minimalism that Scandinavians create that is just so chic. I recently learnt about Scandinavian and Danish brand, Louise Kragh Jewelry. Handmade rings of silver, plated with 24 carat gold with handmade porcelain and fresh water pearls. A costume jewellery brand from Belgrade that make some of the most interesting statement pieces in the form of earrings and necklaces. I recently got my hands on this jewelled rope necklace that I find myself wearing it during the day as well as night.
