Myfashdiary reviews... Windle and Moodie.

I recently headed to a salon I have been meaning to check out for a while now, Windle and Moodie – just off neal street in Covent Garden (area is fab – lots of restaurants, stores and a starbucks right in front) I came in for a haircut with stylist, Michael for a summer trim! I was welcomed with a drink and some magazines straight away by Jacob – the stylist’s assistant.

My appointment began with one of the best hair washes I’ve had (who ever thought a wash would make a great impression?!). The hair wash room felt like a spa room – relaxing music and dim lights – I had a long and super relaxing head massage after the wash (extra stars!). This followed by meeting my stylist, Michael to speak about the cut I wanted to go with. I’m always open to stylist’s advices (they know best…) I love how he gave his opinion on different lengths and ideas, but still wanted to understand how I wear my hair and what I was hoping to go for. We ended up going with a little more than the trim, but he really knew what I was going for.

After the haircut, which I completely loved – he sprayed in some Bumble & Bumble thickening spray for volume (they mostly use Bumble & Bumble products and even sell them in store!) and brow dried the hair… and Voila! New hair, fresh trim and good to go!

The salon is quite large – I had men, women of all ages around me getting different cuts/treatments/color done – It was also not too busy, which is always a plus incase you needed a last minute appointment 🙂 A fab salon to come in for a cut, or even a blow-dry for a big night out!
