We are only two days away from the Dubai World Cup, where I’m judging the Jaguar Style Stakes awards that day. Hope you have your hat, dress and accessories ready. The last decision I had to make was the way I want to wear my hair – hair up or hair down and how. For a change, I’ve shown you how to wear your hair up in a rock chic pony with a subtle hair piece.

Step by Step:

 

STEP 1 – On dry smooth hair take section by section and spray KEVIN.MURPHY FRESH.HAIR throughout. This will add a little texture to the root and give some body. Section a triangle from each eye brow to the back of the crown and clip away this section. 

 

STEP 2 – Using the KEVIN.MURPHY SMOOTHING.BRUSH take the remaining hair and scoop up to a high pony using the brush to smooth secure the hair with a bungee and hook.

 

STEP 3 – Taking your triangle and backcomb section by section using KEVIN.MURPHY TEXTURE.MASTER

for ultimate height and hold!

 

STEP 4 – Start lightly smoothing the backcombed triangle into a quiff and wrap the remaining hair around the hair tie and secure with pin.

 

STEP 5 – Using a little KEVIN.MURPHY EASY.RIDER smooth over the surface of the hair to get rid of any fly away hairs. 

 

STEP 6 – For that added sparkle dress up the look with an Alexandre de Paris head band.
