With the Dubai Film Festival having just ended, I can say this year was a magnificent one – Due to time constraints, I was just able to make one film screening (Hitchcock) as well as the IWC gala where my parents hosted a table, followed by a Bryan Ferry concert – look out for a feature on this! I was also invited to visit the DIFF’s VIP lounge where celebrities get a chance to chill, pamper themselves and get gifted. Check out the highlights… as well as my diary above.

-Ocoo drink:
the beauty drink from Germany, which is launching in Dubai early in 2013 – includes Pomegranate, Acai, Aronia, Cranberries, Black Currants and Red grapes. Great for anti-aging, skin care vitality, collagen production and hair maintenance. Perfect when cold, very refreshing! I’m won…

The Hipster
they do some great pillows and I love my new Fatima’s hand rosary bracelet. Check out my new pillow above that works perfectly with my room’s theme 🙂

FO’AH fragrances
I learnt about this fragrance brand at the VIP lounge – all their perfumes are made with a palm tree note. Super interesting – my favorite would have to be number 11 – The floral oriental fragrance, which is a mix of Juniper berries, Palm and Tonka bean.

Natura Bisse
Spanish luxe skincare brand was there at the lounge giving fab handmassages using their lavish Diamond collection!

-IT’Sugar
Candy brand/store had a little jelly candy pick n mix section for a quick sugar rush… obviously, I filled my box.

Malaak
Last, but not least – one of my favorite regional brands, Malaak, which includes original abayas and chic turbans by the lovely designer Huda was displaying and gifting celebrities. Look out for my turbans in my LOTDs! Symphony boutique stock a great edit of her pieces.
