This week, Myfashdiary interviews the lovely, Amber Atherton of Made in Chelsea – who not only has a successful career in the spotlight – she also is an entrepreneur with her start up, myflashtrash.com. Myflashtrash is a super cool online jewelry boutique which has a great edit of great jewelry designers around the world with original designs. What jewelry brands should we be keeping our eyes on?
There’s a huge surge in design talent from Asia this year and we’ve snapped up a leading light from Hong Kong in the form of Lestie Lee. Her pieces are the perfect mix of bohemian luxury, beautiful turquoise set stones and intricately detailed gold pendants, she’s gaining quite a following so definitely our most hotly tipped star!

Gold. Silver if its rhodium plated.
As you’ve got a great eye for jewelry, what tip would you give upcoming jewelry designers?
1) Make sure your designs have a trademark edge thats instantly recognizable 2) Work with accessibility and aspiration
Do you read Fashion Blogs?
In recent months I’ve moved from reading straight fashion blogs to lifestyle blogs like Honestly WTF and more image based blogs like The Coveteur. Although I enjoy reading individuals musings on fashion when I have time to read them I’m more likely to read a tech or business blog like Business of Fashion or Brand Flakes for Breakfast for inspiration.
As Myfashdiary is based between London & Dubai – have you ever been to Dubai, any plans?
I have been to Dubai its a culture I find very intriguing and would very much like to explore. I can see my own jewlelery collection Typhoon Palace selling there especially the Empress Bracelet and Lost Treasure Rings.
