I recently hosted a dinner in London with model, Daisy Lowe to celebrate the launch of the W Hotel in Dubai (that just opened in July 2016 in Habtoor City right next to the St Regis Hotel) – the latest from the W brand and the first in Dubai and the UAE!

An intimate inner, set in a secret location in London (rather than the actual W – which I quite liked) because it gives people a unique feel to a new hotel, rather than associating it with another W. As someone that has traveled and stayed at some fab W hotels (W Barcelona on the beach, and W Doha’s Spice Market), each W is unique in it’s own ways. With only 20 people on the table, including model Winnie Harlow, Fast & the Furious actor, Luke Evans and London It girl, Pixie Geldof – there was a projection on the dining table portraying Dubai’s fast moving lifestyle.

I haven’t been to the new W in Dubai, but can’t wait to check it out once I’m back from my travels. It’s the Emirate’s first fully-integrated urban resort with 33 floors. During the dinner, I was seated next to Peter Katusak-Huzsvar, the GM of W Dubai.
A few things I’m excited about:
-The fact that we are finally getting our first W in Dubai – love the W brand, and was possibly my first boutique hotel stay years ago.
-Their new restaurant, NAMU, which is a Korean/Japanese cuisine (I’ve been dying to try Korean food)
-Their FIT bar, which serves healthy snacks and drinks
