Ideal for… Traditional Japanese with a skyline view

Restaurant name and location: Tomo, Raffles Hotel Dubai
Cuisine: Japanese
Atmosphere: The indoor and outdoor seating have completely different scenes. Outdoors is a more relaxed, loungey feel with the view and deep house music by the DJ. Indoor is a little more elegant and traditional.
What they say: An authentic Japanese restaurant promoting Japanese culture and food in the Middle East. Over the last three decades Partner Chef Takahashi with his team of skilled chefs from Japan has gained an extensive following of Japanese nationals and people of other nationalities in the UAE who appreciate the real taste of Japan. This home-grown Japanese restaurant creating high quality Japanese cuisine takes its place among the great restaurants Dubai has to offer; winning the ‘2013 Best Newcomer’ award by Time Out Dubai.

What to order:
I suggest you order your favourite Japanese dishes being at an authentic restaurant, and here are a few of my choices-
-Dragon Roll sushi (prawn tempura and avocado)
-Wagyu skewers (tender)
-Chicken and leek skewers (Flavorful)

Service: The staff were very sweet and incredibly kind!

What I loved:
-A place to visit for Authentic Japanese food.
-They have a range of drinks and cocktails to enjoy with the beautiful view.
-Sunset drinks atmosphere is really just breathtaking.
Bill for two: AED400
