Beauty Notes: Argan Oil

Argan Oil: Mark Hill MiracOlicious Moroccan Argan Oil
Every since I started colouring my hair (ombre), I can’t live without hair oils. If you’re looking for an Argan one, check this one out from Boots, which is mixed with Ylang Ylang and a blend of 14 essential oils. Hair colour dries up the hair, and with the Summer all year round in the city – there’s more of a chance that our hair is going to get even more dried up. The buzz has always been around Argan oil but this African Nut oil is not a fat, it really moisturises, fights up the dryness and only a little dollop goes a long way.

Bath: Izil Moroccan bath soap
One of my all time favourite body treatments would have to be a Moroccan bath, after an aromatherapy massage of course! This one by Izil, a local brand is exactly like the one they use during Morocan baths, that you can use at your own home! Perfect for a shower treat, let your shower steam up, before using the black soap all over your body – packed with olive, argan oils and Eucalyptus, it’s great for detoxifying, and removing dead skin cells and toxins – not to mention your skin feels slightly, and smells exactly like it does after a Moroccan bath.

Mascara: Rimmel London Wonder’full mascara with Argan oil
One of my favourite mascaras at the moment is this one by Rimmel, infused with Argan oil. Nourishing, clump free, and in deep black. It comes on very smooth, the mascara liquid on the ultra-flex brush makes it easier to apply, without clumping the lashes yet still giving them a defined look.

Range: The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil
I love The Body Shop’s ranges and one of them is the Wild Argan oil range (which is actually made in Morocco). Argan is great for major hydration, relaxing the body as well as enriching it with vitamins and minerals so this is a great one to use made out of argan oils. My favourites include the massage soap (perfect for showers) and my favourite – the body butter (can’t think of anything that hydrates the body more than this product!)
