Restaurant Review: The Farm, Dubai

Ideal for… a getaway lunch

Restaurant name and location: The Farm at Al Barari
Cuisine: International
Atmosphere: For a weekday, it was quite full and buzzing with people working, on business meetings to leisure lunches.
What they say: The Farm, brought to you by us, the Zaal family, is another addition to our vision of developing unique natural residential communities and facilities. The idea for The Farm stemmed from our desire to offer a completely different type of dining experience to our residents and visitors to the estate.

What to order:
Grilled eggplant rolls with cream cheese (delicious and crunchy)
Soft shell crab with chilli (flavorful)
Chicken tikka masala (spicy)
White chocolate cheesecake
Mango and orange smoothie
Service: Lovely service, had no issues.

What I loved:
-They have Gluten-free options.
-The bread basket comes with quite a few selections from Brioche to Spinach bread.
-The iPad menu – when you click on the item, you get more details and a detailed picture.
-Calm, relaxing atmosphere with the most beautiful greenery outdoors.
-The selections of juices, and they also have take-away cups if you’d like to take any on the go.
What I didn’t love as much:
-This isn’t a place for a quick lunch. Al Barari is a little tricky to get to but if you have a few free hours, it’s definitely worth visiting.

Bill for two: AED350
