Restaurant Review: El Sur, Dubai

Comments Subcategorized in:

Ideal for… A happening night over drinks and tapas.

Restaurant name and location: El Sur at the Westin Hotel Mina Seyahi, Dubai

Cuisine: Modern Spanish

Atmosphere: Vibrant, packed and happening with a stylish crowd.

What they say: El Sur is a modern and authentic, artistic and serene, elegant and casual, intimate and happening. Through its use of fresh ingredients and dynamic recipes, El Sur pushes the boundaries with its innovative menu.

What to order: It’s a sharing concept of tapas-

-Aubergine Tapas (eggplant, one of my favourite dishes)

-Beets Salad (Refreshing & citrusy)

-End your meal with one of the best pain perdus I’ve had… which they call Caramelised Brioche and comes with a side of Lemon yogurt ice cream.

Service: It wasn’t great, expect to put your hands in the air quite a bit.

What I loved:

-A happening place in Dubai to take note of.

-Great if you like sharing.

-Impressive art work covering the walls.

-If you love your sangrias, here’s a place to have them at.

-I don’t eat pork, but this is a place have pork options.

Bill for two: AED300
