This edition of My Beauty Routine features the beautiful supermodel, Camila Alves – who also happens to be the wife of Matthew McConaughey. She speaks to myfashdiary on her favourite beauty products, how she maintains her glow and how she takes care of her ombre hair.

-Beauty products you swear by:
I try not to use too many products for skincare.  I usually use Cetaphil for cleansing and NUDE ProGenius treatment oil after for hydration.

-What’s in your make up bag>
Dior mascara, Addict lip glow, Bobbi Brown eye pencil and bronzer

-How do you maintain that glow?
I’m a fan of illuminizer when hitting the red carpet. Putting just a little bit on the cheekbone really makes your face glow.

-Fitness routine
I’ve been working out with Simone De La Rue and Gunnar Peterson. Trying to lose the baby fat!

-You have the most beautiful ombre hair, how do you take care of it?
I have a great friend at Meche salon Tracy Cunningham who takes good care of me, but on a day-to-day basis I try not to do too much to it. I used to straighten it all of the time because my big curly hair is more work then straight but that caused a bit of damage because it was constantly under heat. Now, I try to just embrace this wild mane.

-Being a working mother, how do you manage your time?
It’s certainly a challenge juggling 3 children with a career, but I try and pack everything in when I’m on business trips. My car literally becomes my “office” when I’m driving back from school! When I’m at home, I power through emails and conference calls while the kids are either in school and/or napping and then I’m all theirs again. I try to be very hands-on. I believe it is the most important thing for them to have their parents be present.
