Chic Stay: The London EDITION

October 26
Comments Subcategorized in:

Ideal for… a stay at London’s hippest hotel & the IT hotel in the city.

What: The London EDITION Hotel

Where: 10 Berners Street, London (right behind Oxford circus)

The Rooms:

Quite small, yet cosy. The interiors are all set in such a chic way – wooden walls and floors with a whole lot of natural light. If you don’t feel like you have enough entertainment in the lobby (the lobby is always full and buzzing), the flat screen Samsung TV has a movie menu, TV guide and music (as well as shows the date, time and temperature daily!), – Vogue and GQ magazines were also left in the room.

The Bed:

Incredibly comfortable bed that you can sink into. 9.75/10

The Toilets:

Large minimal toilets in white with their own London EDITION branded shampoo and conditioner etc. The shower also has a loofah (plus points!)

The Breakfast:

Breakfast takes place at Berners Tavern, one of the hottest London restaurants at the moment – not to mention one of the most beautiful breakfast spaces. The menu is simple, yet delicious. I highly recommend their Avocado on toast with poached eggs and a latte.

The Food:

Their main restaurant is Berners Tavern, which is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can also grab drinks at The Punch room and the Lobby.

Minibar:

One of the coolest minibars I’ve seen – it includes everything from Maltesers, Rice cakes, Jealous gummy sweets, Joe & Seph’s popcorn, Tyrell’s chips as well as other gourmet snacks and a skull vodka bottle.

Pool, Spa & Gym:

They have a gym (as well as PT on request) but no pool or spa.

Price: I stayed in a Deluxe room, prices start at £295

Extra points:

-The hotel is by Studio54’s founder, Ian Schrager

-Marriott Hotel’s cool boutique hotel brother (owned by the Marriott group)

-Every man that works at this hotel is pretty much handsome.

-Don’t be shocked if you see paps waiting outside the hotel, the celebrities love the hotel.

-Two things I wasn’t too happy about – the low closet space and that my room had an onion reek during my stay (a ventilator issue)
