I recently came across Samsung’s campaign for Ramadan. An impressive social movement that celebrates something that is so dear to me – Family. Hala-B-Hali is an Arabic phrase which means ‘Hello to my Family’. We generally use Social media heavily to connect more with our social lives (even though I also find it a great way to keep in touch with my family around the world.), so with this campaign, Samsung aimed to reconnect families in today’s technology – bridging he gap and getting us to feel a deep sense of nostalgia and appreciation for our family.

They are asking all of you to come together and recreate an old family you have to relive fond memories by making new ones. All you have to do is upload it to their microsite www.samsung.com/halabhali
