Ideal for… Taking formal visitors to a chic restaurant over authentic food Think Fine dining with Arabic food.

Restaurant name and location: Nawwara, JW Marriott Marquis hotel, Business Bay

Cuisine: Levantine

Atmosphere: Quiet, sophisticated and relaxed.

What they say:

The JW Marriot Marquis sets the Dubai scene on fire with Nawwara. This glamorous new hotspot promises socialites refined Mediterranean cuisine and exotic cocktails with an Arabesque twist, before setting the night ablaze, true to Levantine form, with upbeat tunes and deep sensual vibes.

What to order:

-Hummus with meat

-Deer Machbous

-Zaatar Salad

-Mixed Grill (they have a signature with everything from Chicken, Kebabs to shrimps and sausages)

Service: Our server, Mahmoud was fab and super super sweet.

What I loved:

-They have Emarati dishes, which is rare at Arabic restaurants.

-Prettiest and most Sophisticated Arabic restaurant I’ve been to.

-The range of different cocktails.

-They have shish available on the Terrace.

Bill for two: AED400
