I never would have thought the Ivy would have been an option when craving breakfast. They actually serve breakfast every day, so it’s perfect for an early business meeting or if you’re craving an eggs Benedict and a classic Brit Brekkie.

Cuisine: English breakfast

Atmosphere: A work atmosphere early morning on weekdays, but I can imagine it buzzing with families and friends on weekends.

What they say: The Ivy Restaurant, Bar and Jazz Lounge is an elegant and relaxed international brasserie open for breakfast, lunch, dinner every day of the week,  as well as Friday Brunch, and Saturday lunch. The Bar and Lounge plays host to some of the region’s hottest jazz musicians on Tuesday and Thursday nights and all day Friday.

With top-rated service and a menu to suit all tastes and pockets, The Ivy is the perfect venue for both business and pleasure. The large terrace area, private dining room and bar can be booked for corporate and private events, and packages can be tailored to any kind of event and budget.

What to order:

-Eggs Florentine (delicious and perfect if you’re craving a florentine.)

-Full english breakfast – eggs, beans and veal sausage for the real deal.

-Latte (Quality Coffee, and this will make your morning – promise!)

Service: The service at the Ivy is always great. Quality service. Breakfast was just the same.

What I loved:

-Daily breakfast – Sunday-Thurs 7 30-11am, Friday & Saturday 9-11am

-The seating at the Ivy feels quite private, which some people like in the region.

-Pork options available if you want pork.

 What I didn’t like as much:

-Don’t expect a morning with natural light, it’s a little dark at the restaurant.
