All in One: RMS beauty Raw Coconut cream

As mentioned last month, I was recently introduced to RMS beauty and this has got to be another favorite product. This can be used as a make up remover, a cleanser or as a moisturizer. I love it as a moisturizer as it’s lightweight yet super nourishing with a subtle coconut scent. My only downfall is it’s very similar to organic coconut oil, which is cheaper. Available on net-a-porter.com

Range: L’Occitane 5 essential oils

I remember discovering this shampoo at the Inter continental hotel in Beirut and always falling in love when I wash my hair there (I’m always put off by hotel shampoos) Because of how much I loved it, I started using the range at home – shampoo, conditioner, mask etc. Nourishing, gives the hair volume and the smell stays on the hair all day – my hair always feels soft and silky post shower.

Foundation: Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation

Max Factor is one of those brands I recommend to anyone that wants great professional make up on a budget. They make some of the best mascaras, eyeliners and foundations. I’ve been currently using the Face Finity foundation, which is a long lasting, great coverage – yet still light – kind of foundation. It’s also a 3 in 1 – primer, foundation and concealer. If I’m on the go, this is the perfect foundation to use.

illuminator: Revlon Photoready Skinlights

I’m a sucker for illuminators and currently obsessed with Revlon’s photo ready skinlights that I have been using all depending on the occasion – I’ll use the pink light rose for the day, and the more bronzed one for night. I love mixing a little bit with my foundation to give off a radiant dewy finish.

Fragrance: Jo Malone Peony Blush & Suede

I love Jo Malone – the quality, the packaging and the fragrances. Depending on personal taste, there are just ones I fall in love with more than others. I LOVE the new fragrance Peony Blush & Suede. With a top note of Red Apple, heart of Peony and base of Suede, the fragrance has the perfect mix of floral, fruity and luxurious suede.

Foundation: Marc Jacobs beauty Genius Gel foundation

I must say I couldn’t wait till the Marc Jacobs beauty line launched. I was intrigued to see how it was going to do…  The gel foundation is light, buildable and also has Coconut extracts which help hydrate the skin. Perfect for day and night. The foundation is available at Sephora in the Middle East.

Nail Polish: Chanel Magic

I’m a sucker for Blue Nailpolish… and let’s just be honest – no one makes more chic colours than Chanel. The brand launched a deep navy blue shade for Vogue’s Fashion night out which is part of a special edition collection. (Nuit Magnifique)

Nude Gloss: MAC Cremesheen glass in ‘Calypso’

Finding the perfect nude tone is always tricky as well as finding it in a great tube of lipstick or gloss. The shade Calypso is the perfect neutral without looking too dark or washed out & the gloss gives a light gloss, whilst hydrating the lips. Neutral with a subtle pink. A nude gloss winner.

Brown smokey eye: Lancome Hypnose star eyes in Brun Adoré

As mentioned previously, I’m currently obsessed with the brown smokey eye. I’ve moved from the ashy greasy to a more natural look… This eyeshadow palette includes a range of browns, golds and black – which blends into the perfectly natural burn smokey eye. Just add the liner, mascara and you’re good to go.

Skincare system: Chanel Le Jour de Chanel, La Nuit de Chanel and Le Weekend de Chanel

Chanel have just come out with a skincare system. Le Jour de Chanel is made to reactivate the skin for energy (Jasmine extract) that stimulates and for radiance (Salicylic acid) which exfoliates the skin. The Nuit de Chanel to recharge that soothes (using Frankincense extract) that carries out cellular repair and plumps (using sustained-release hyaluronic acid) that penetrates the skin’s core and Le Weekend de Chanel which renews, softens the skin (using May Rose water) and promotes hydration (using glycolic acid) – My current beauty obsession.

Range: Bourjois Happy light

Bourjois had a happy light range four years ago that they discontinued and they just came out with a new and updated range of Happy light, which is super exciting. The range consists of a primer, foundation and concealer. I’ve loved all of them especially the primer, which is super light, feels good on the skin and gives off an airbrushed matte finish. The foundation provides coverage that you can build up, as well as a hydrated dewy finish. All on a budget too…

Hairspray: Davines This is a strong hairspray

I learnt about the brand, Davines on a photo shoot last year and have never loved a hairspray as much as the ones Davines make… Firstly, can’t miss the quirky name, which straight up tells me that it’s a strong hairspray. Paraben-free, adds structure, smells good, endures humidity yet still easy to remove.

Make up Brushes: Lancome brushes

I love finding great make up brushes – they make a huge difference to your make up. Lancome introduced their brushes to the Middle East, and I’ve been obsessed with several of them. MAC make one of the best brushes on the market, and Lancome is definitely at the same level. My favourites include the Foundation brush, Powder & light blush effect brush, and the all over shadow brush.

Concealer: Clarins Instant Concealer

I find it difficult finding good concealers and this month I’m loving the Instant concealer from Clarins. The tube is easy to carry around, the liquid cream smoothes the skin and really gives off a brightening effect as well as decent coverage that can be layered up without feeling thick.

Eyeliner: Smashbox Limitless eyeliner in Onyx

I can’t leave home without applying eyeliner so I’m quite picky when looking for a good pencil liner. I’m currently obsessed with the one by Smashbox – it reminds me of the one I’m obsessed with from Urban Decay. Lasts all day, waterproof, creamy as well as includes Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil.

Toner & Make up remover: Institut Esthederm Osmoclean Hydra-replenishing fresh lotion

Love when a product can be used as a dual… The Osmoclean Hydra-replenishing fresh lotion can be used on a cotton pad to remove make up and tone the skin. I like using it during the day if my face doesn’t need a full cleansing session, but just to wipe off the make up to give my skin some area to breathe…

Nude lipstick: Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Baby Pink

I love my nudes, and I can never get enough of collecting perfect nude lipsticks. I love the Baby Pink shade by Bobbi brown – balanced combination of Pink & beige, smells good that gives a long lasting creamy finish.

Star product: Caudalie Elixir

Women around the world swear by this product, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Partly toner, and partly a serum mist of essential oils and plant active ingredients. To be used in between foundation and your powder, the spray smoothes the skin, tightens pores as well as adds a dewy finish and keeps your skin feeling fresh.

Spray tan: Lauren’s Way Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

Those Essex girls sure do know how to get their tan on. This month, I’ve been using this mousse in the Medium colour from the Essex reality show, Lauren Goodger – the mousse which is super easy to use and really gives you a strong tan. Light and doesn’t streak easily, I like applying this with a tanning mitt (that they also sell) a few hours before going out. They also have options of buying a kit with the moisturiser and other products from Lauren’s Way.

Hair Oil: Maison de Joelle Intense Nutritive

I’m always so impressed when I find amazing products that have come out of the Middle East. I love my hair oils, and I recently started using the Intense Nutritive (Intense nutrition) oil by Joelle Mardinian of MBC (who is also a friend)’s line, Maison de Joelle. Enriched with Babassu oil and silk proteins – this really hydrates the oil, relieves damaged hair as well as makes your hair smell soooo good. It has a lovely tinge of Vanilla.

Hair Perfume: Herra Protect Hair Perfume

A dual genius product – hair perfume and protection spray in one. The fragrance is a mix of Vanilla, Jasmine and Musk – which makes a super lovely combination, and has a mix of 3 key ingredients that protect the hair Glycerin (for moisture), Olive extract (to protect it from hair pollution) and Sunflower extract (that protects the hair from the UV). One every woman should have on her beauty cupboard.

Hair Brush: Maria Dowling brushes

Finding high quality brushes is very important – whether it’s for the care of your hair or just good quality styling. I recently popped over for a clay mask (look out for my review) and left with a few brushes by Maria Dowling herself. My favourites include the paddle cushion brush and the ceramic spiral brushes.
