Noodle House is a classic amongst my family, we can always count on good food over a casual lunch. They recently added new south east asian dishes, going back to their roots so I invited a friend to catch up over lunch. They have different branches, I went to the Emirates Towers as it’s my favorite.

Restaurant name and location: The Noodle House with branches across town including Emirates Towers, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai Mall, Media City etc.

Cuisine: South East Asian

Atmosphere: Buzzing with people on business lunches during the weekdays, & family and friends on the weekends.

What they say: The noodle house is the flagship restaurant of Jumeirah Restaurants LLC. Launched in 2002, the brand has gone from strength to strength with restaurants all over Dubai and expanding both regionally and globally.

What to order:

-Firecracker shrimp (sriracha chilli mayonnaise, one of their new dishes – tastes like Dynamite shrimp)

-Chicken siew mai (always a must order… Chicken dumplings)

-Vegetable spring rolls (I don’t know any other restaurant that does better spring rolls)

-Black pepper beef.(A new dish, beef tenderloin with black. Pepper sauce)

-The classics: Chicken sweet and sour and Thai chicken with cashew nuts

-Lychee sorbet (refreshing and light)

Service: Depends on how busy it is, but they’re quite fast.

What I loved:

-Casual and fast food, love a quick meal!

-Quality, not five star nor greasy.

-The portions are generous, and don’t worry because they have cute chinese food packaging for you to take away.

What I didn’t love as much:

-If you want your privacy or back comfort, make sure to come early because they only have 3-4 tables and the rest are benches.

-The chicken satay was too dry for my liking.

-They don’t take reservations unless you’re over 8 pax, first come first serve.
