Paris Fashion Week S/S'14 Diary: Day Four

Day four was quite a feminine and soft day with the collections. I love Aussie brands – So much great talent comes out of Australia. Starting with Ellery…  who showed at Paris Fashion Week for the first time (however I’ve been keeping an eye on the brand for a few years now.) What I love most about the Aussie is the fact that they are super wearable. For Ellery, Kym used metallics, lots of blacks, but the best of all were the structures and silhouettes. Another Oz show I checked out during fashion week was Collette Dinnigan, which took place at the Salon des Miroires (within a little passage way called Jouffroy) – there was no better way of starting the morning then with Croissants and coffee for breakfast before the show. With a FROW that includes Poppy Delevigne in the brand… The brand displayed a range of dresses and breezy tees in Primary colours such as blue and bright red with red poppy appliqués. Whether mesh cutouts, appliqués, or diamante – it was really all about the detail.

Moving on to a show I was excited for this season – Chloe. This season, instead of showing at their usual Tuileries location, they showed at the Lycée school. An impressive front row of Leigh Lezark and Olivia Palermo to name a few, this collection was all about high summer, seductive with a palette of Olives, Persian blue, Water Green and Faded blue. Easy, chic and breezy. I must say they also had one of the best show playlists… Thought I’d share:
