Boutique Worth Visiting: Grain, Kuwait.

I recently flew down to Kuwait as a guest of GRAIN boutique, to celebrate their store that opened last season as well as a preview of the Fall ’13 collections. The boutique, which is at Burj Jassim was started up by inspiring Kuwaiti Entrepreneur, who also happens to be a Wife & Mother – Fatma AlGharabally. The boutique stocks a range of upcoming and coveted brands such as… Ostwald Helgason, Josh Goot and JW Anderson – as well as many others I discovered after visiting the store. She has a great eye, compiled with edgy edits.

A quick in and out trip, but I love Kuwait. The women there are super stylish and ahead of the game, they also support great design and up and coming talent rather than going for the typical high end brands. Events in Kuwait are different to ones here in Dubai – more intimate, and people actually come in to try clothes and check out the fashion – which I loved. They were also treated to quirky mini Canapes.

Here’s a photo diary of my short and sweet trip. If you’re in Kuwait and haven’t been, you must asap and if you’re not in Kuwait, make sure to add it to your ‘places’ list.

Thank you Fatma AlGharabally and Grain for having me!
