BEAUTY BUZZ: October 2012

Moisture: Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel
Clarins is definitely one of those brands I consider under rated – I have been obsessed with all their products this year… This month, their cream gel has been my skin food, perfect texture which is in between a cream and a gel. It’s so light, it is perfect to use as a base before the make up or even as a night cream.
Bronze: Sephora tinted self-tanning face gel
You always tend to find products for body bronze but very rarely do I find great ones for the face. I’m loving this one by Sephora, which is not only super easy to apply (the brush is a great way to  get a streak-free look and avoid the tanning mess), it also has a great summer scent and doesn’t orange up the face. perfect for a subtle bronze on the face!
Body: Palmer’s Cocoa Butter formula Skin therapy oil
This smells great, not too greasy, and great for the skin, I wake up with super soft skin because of this product. For the month of October,  Palmer’s have come out with a limited edition pink packaged oil, where £1 of each is donated. love it…
Lips: Vaseline Pink Bubbly
Vaseline always come out with exciting limited edition, and this time… it’s Pink bubbly!
Hair: bumble and bumble hairdressers oil
I’ve been hearing about this product for a while now, and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this… The product is a blend of six oils – argan, coconut, macadamia nut, sweet almond, grape-seed and monoi. It protects and nourishes the hair. I like applying it a tiny bit on my hair before going out. smells great!
Eyes: Bourjois khol kajal
I used to ask my friends to pick up kohls for me whilst they were in India and Pakistan, so it’s very exciting to see brands coming out with it. This month, I’m using the one by Bourjois.
Liner: Bobbi Brown long-wear gel eyeliner in Black Ink 1
A little tub with black gel ink, alongside a brush looked intimidating and difficult. This is definitely not. Creamy, which is great for blending & perfect for a cat eye liner. I like using it to line my eye after a smokey eye.
Conditioner: Kiehls Strengthening and hydrating hair oil-in-cream
Once a week, I like to double up my conditioner after my shower, and apply a leave in conditioner. This month, I’m loving the one by Kiehls which includes Olive fruit and avocado oils. It doesn’t include silicone or parabens, and the oils are great with nourishing the hair. My hair always feels super soft, and I love how the product has a light scent.
Fragrance: Thierry Mugler Alien aqua chic
I love Alien, one of my all time favorite fragrances. This month, I’ve been carrying around the aqua chic version… A lighter, day version of my favorite alien fragrance – this is definitely a winner.
Hands: L’Occitane body butter hand cream Limited edition
L’occitane – home to the best hand creams have come out with limited edition versions in scents such as Date bouquet and Mango flower (which are both favorites!). They have the same moisturizing effect as their original shea butter one, with a fab scent to accompany it.
Toner: Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner
This lovely toner lives in my mini fridge. super refreshing, with a light apricot scent. I love spritzing it daily for a refreshing pick me up.
Foundation: Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H
I was recently introduced to Lancome’s brand new spanking foundation – The Teint Idole Ultra 24H. I can’t give only one reason why I love this foundation – it ticks several checkboxes from me. It stays on all day, light on the skin, great coverage, comfortable, gives off an airbrush effect, and has spf15 within the liquid.
Cream: La Mer moisturizing soft cream
I recently shared my La Mer gel discovery, before I found out about the soft cream. As my skin is quite a combination, La Mer’s classic cream is a bit too rich for me. What I love about this one is the fact that it still has the richness of the main cream, yet not as heavy. miracle…
Eyeshadow: Too Faced Natural at Night (exclusively at Sephora in the Middle East)
I have been on the hunt for a great palette that has a lighter tone compared to my Urban Decay Naked one. I’m  currently obsessed with this palette for my smokey eyes – great muted tones, with darker twists such as olives.
Make up remover: Osmoclean by Institut Esthederm Paris
I was recently introduced to this brand, which I am obsessed with. My first product highlight from the brand is the Osmoclean which doubles up as not only a great eye make-up remover, but also great for eyelash care. If I’ve layered up my mascara, or had a shoot. I love to soak a cotton pad in this and put it on my eyelash for a minute.
