Vogue UK’s Fashion Director, Sarah Harris recently hosted an event with Paige denim and now that denim trends are growing rapidly, I thought I would ask the lovely Sarah to share some denim tips for myfashdiary readers!

How to style…
-Printed denim 
look for patterns that flatter, make sure lines run vertically and not horizontally, look for shading, darker shades will have a slimming effect, and smaller finer prints tend to flatter more than larger scale prints. Clash with corresponding prints up top, or clam down with crisp tailored separates, the possibilities here are endless

-Coloured denim
Have fun with it, but the chicest approach to bolder pops of coloured denim is to tone tone the top half with neutrals, such as grey, stone, and beige.

-Monochrome Denim
super flattering – Paige has some great chalk stripe monochrome jeans in the works, which are set to launch october, the stripes instantly elongate legs, I can’t wait to get a pair!
