This week, I went to visit one of my favorite boutique hotels in London. For a change, it wasn’t for a party or for dinner – It was to visit their spa, Agua spa! I mean… I did expect it to be a pretty spa. But pretty was just not the word… From the second I walked in, I felt relaxed.

The Interiors needs a post for itself. White, minimal and chic yet also makes you feel like you’re in clouds – the vibe was soothing. A great place is always better when the service is great – The staff at the Agua spa were super sweet, and very hospitable (always a double plus). After I was welcomed, I filled in a consultation form, and was then shown to the changing rooms (which is super clean, white and chic – chic is the word.) My therapist, Elena then came over to introduce herself and introduced me to the treatment I was about to indulge in – a 90 minute Japanese Mint Cooling Cocoon Ritual!

On to the treatment…  The room was spacious, all white and the beds were water beds (which was a first time) a great idea as it doesn’t put any pressure on one part of the body. All the products used were by Jurlique – a great brand that is all natural, and of high quality. The treatment started off with the body, an aromatherapy massage using hot mint oil (great for relaxation – the room ended up smelling of mint), after that was done – I was wrapped and Elena continued with a facial, an enzymic treatment which removed the dead skin.

Once I was done, and in relaxation mode. It didn’t end there… I relaxed in the private relaxation room in the comfiest bed I have ever laid on, which included a TV and I was served a detox meal and Jasmine tea. bliss…

I was also impressed with little things such a reminder and Thank you pre and post treatment is super simple, but goes a long way. Great for women on the go that tend to have busy schedules…

If you’re in London, I definitely suggest heading to the Agua spa to treat yourself… Time to book my 2nd treatment 🙂
