How to… upgrade your scarf this summer!

Hi guys!

Welcome to my 2^nd post with Galaxy for their ESSENTIAL UPGRADES campaign. Today I’ll be talking about and giving away tips on how to upgrade your silk scarf into summer ensembles.

When heading for a summer vacation, packing light is ideal – you don’t want to be carrying around a ton of things, paying for extra weight… plus you need to make room for holiday shopping! Silk scarves are fab pieces to pack as they are so light, and don’t take up any space at all…

There are a ton of ways to wear a scarf, but here are a few of my faves…

-Neck: There are several ways a silk scarf can be worn around the neck and it is definitely great to play around with, and pinch in some creativity. I have included 2 different styles I like wearing silk scarves that would give my outfit that perfect pinch of color or print!

-Head: Adding a silk scarf to your head under the sun not only protects but gives you a 70’s inspired look – whether it is on the beach or with a tee and denim cutoffs, a fab and easy look to upgrade a simple one.

-Summer Cover up: Whether you are on the beach and need a cover up or on holiday, you can be creative with the scarf, and turn it into a fab cover up whilst still getting some color on the shoulders!

-Handbag accessory: You know that feeling when you’ve got to run out of the door, but feel like your outfit looks ‘boring’? just wrap a silk scarf to your handbag and you are good to go plus you can always remove it and wear it around your neck if it gets chilly!
