How to upgrade your look… with Statement Jewellery.

Hi Everyone! I’m so excited to be an official blogger for GALAXY CHOCOLATE ESSENTIAL UPGRADES. I grew up loving the chocolate and still do… As a style blogger for the past 3 years, and a fashion student at the same time, I am always coming up with different ideas to upgrade a comfortable day to day look. The simplest way to upgrade any look is by jewellery – statement jewellery that is. I love picking up pieces that are statements yet quite versatile to wear… Whenever I buy a piece, I always make sure I can think of five ways I can wear it.

Statement jewellery is the perfect upgrade to any outfit.

 -Cocktail ring: My favorite accessory, and one I love wearing on a daily basis. Cocktail rings are so much fun and can be worn day and night! Great conversation starters too… There is no right or wrong way to wear rings – you can wear them both day and night or wear chunky ones during the day, and move onto something a little more dainty at night.

 -Statement necklace: I tend to collect statement necklaces. They are great accessories that are essential in anyone’s wardrobe. They can give your basic tee and jeans look a cool edge, or smarten up a little black dress on a night out. You can also mix up your necklaces – gold and silver mixed does give an outfit an interesting look, or you can be a little more daring, and wear some bright statement jewellery – neons are huge this spring/summer ’12!

 -Chic Cuff: Cuffs are chic yet subtle. If you’re not big on accessories, a cuff is a great starting point and definitely gives you a bohemian 70’s edge.

 -Cascading earrings: If you’re bold enough, earrings are great accessories that also frame your face and can give you a glam edge. If you’re wearing large earrings, I suggest you give the necklace a miss to give your look an effortless touch.

    love ur tips Tala, if you asked me to wear one accessory it would be a bracelet, gold or silver or whatever the material is, i love them. but since following ur blog i start falling in love with rings though i don’t have long fingers, where it’s hard finding a ring that won’t cover my hall finger heheh.
    whenever i don’t have time to style my hair, i wear long but simple earings and blazer to pull it together, specially when i do a pony tail that day.

    Thank you for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research on this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I am very glad to see such wonderful information being shared freely out there.
