I’ve had my eye on LA-based Jewelry designer, Anita Ko for some time… Her collection has been seen on all the a-listers & style icons and includes Classical rich pieces with unique twists. Above are a few of my favorite pieces (… the spiked bangles are on my xmas wish list!) Perfect for stacking, pairing it with your mens watch or just wearing a piece for an everyday look! Shop the collection HERE.

I recently also had the chance to Exclusively interview the talented Designer behind the whole collection, Anita Ko!

-Hi Anita Ko! What inspires your designs?
I am inspired by music, art, and fashion from every era.  I feel I am inspired by everything and i am always on the lookout to be turned on to something new. I love chic women of the 70’s. I love looking at pictures of Brigitte Bardot, Jackie O, Anita Pallenberg and Yves Saint Laurent. I also try to find inspiration within myself and design what I would want to wear and what I feel is cool for a woman to own for a lifetime.
-Three Jewelry styling tips?
My first styling tip is to have clean jewelry. A woman should have her pieces cleaned and polished twice a year. Skin, dirt and lotion take away from the beauty of gold and diamonds. My second tip is to layer your bracelets and bangles- stack them and mix them on the arm. My third tip is to wear a cool ring on your pointer finger – nothing is more chic than a beautiful ring on one’s pointer finger.
-Favorite Fashion City and why?
My favorite fashion city is Paris. The quality and beauty of couture inspires me, and I feel the people appreciate it as art. My other favorite is Los Angeles. We have a cool/layed back/luxe thing here that I don’t find in other cities.
-Fashion Magazines or Fashion Blogs?
I love ELLE, VOGUE, and V. I love reading bryanboy, and chicmuse for fashion blogs.
-What’s next for Anita Ko?
What’s next for me… something punk, something girly, and something fancy all mixed into one.
